Professional Service Technician

Position Description

We have opportunities to install and troubleshoot problems with different technology solutions for our clients

Document Solutions: Digital Copiers, Printers, Multi-Function Systems, Duplicators, Scanners, Etc.

Mail Solutions: Postage Systems, Folder/Inserters, Addressing Devices, Etc.

As a Field Service Technician, your duties will include:
Troubleshooting and repairing office equipment (copiers, printers, fax machines, etc.)
Providing high-quality technical support to our customer base
Communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction
Developing options to solve unusual problems
Managing time, resources and territorial considerations
Develop and Maintain Quality Client Relationships through Professional and Ethical Efforts
Offer Clear Explanations and System Training to Clients
Perform Software and Firmware Updates, Along with Other System Maintenance
Complete Equipment Training Certifications Related to Your Field
Seek Out Opportunities to Fulfill Clients’ Technology Needs, Even Beyond Your Field of Expertise
Work with Sales and Administrative Teammates to Serve Our Clients Well
Essential Requirements
Must be Able to Attend Training Classes, Seminars, Webinars, etc., Including Outside Regular Business Hours
Must Have *and Maintain* throughout Employment
Professional Appearance and Communication Skills
Clean Driving Record & Ability to be Included as Authorized Driver on Company Automobile Insurance
Clean Criminal Record & Drug Screening
Ability to Competently Use a Computer for Completion of Daily Tasks
Must be Able to Communicate Fluently in English
Must be Able to Lift a Minimum of 55 Pounds
Must be Able to Work a Minimum Schedule of 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM, as Well as be Willing to Travel, Including Spending Several Nights in a Row Out of Town
High School Diploma or the Equivalent

Strong Mechanical Aptitude (Acceptable Scores on Standardized Technical Aptitude Test(s) Provided by MCC)
Ability to Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment
Previous Experience Preferred, but Not Required (Willingness to Learn is Key)
